In September 1990 a book was published that changed how chefs saw themselves. White Heat has gone on to become one of the most enduring classic cookbooks of the modern era. With its unique blend of outspoken opinion, recipes, White Heat captures the magic and spirit of Marco Pierre White in the heat of his kitchen.

In July 2022 inspired by White Heat's iconic imagery I set about emulating the style, approach and aesthetic of the dramatic photographs by the late legendary photographer Bob Carlos Clarke.
