Hi, I'm Simon.
In September 1990 a book was published that changed how chefs saw themselves. White Heat has gone on to become one of the most enduring classic cookbooks of the modern era. With its unique blend of outspoken opinion, recipes, White Heat captures the magic and spirit of Marco Pierre White in the heat of his kitchen.
Shooting Chefs – Beyond the Pass is a photography book project celebrating the passion and personalities behind Yorkshire’s dynamic food scene. Inspired by the raw, iconic imagery of White Heat, the project pays homage to the dramatic aesthetic of the late Bob Carlos Clarke. Through striking black-and-white portraits and candid interviews, Shooting Chefs captures the highs, lows, and untold stories of chefs working at the heart of hospitality in Yorkshire.
